Lisa Becton DVM, MS, DACVPM
National Pork Board

Dr. Becton is a graduate of the North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine and has been with the National Pork Board since April of 2008. Dr. Becton received a Master of Science in Food Safety from Michigan State University in 2010 and is a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine since 2013. Areas of responsibility include focus on swine health issues with the Swine Health Committee, administration of domestic swine health research, farm biosecurity, and development of producer and veterinary materials. Prior to working at the National Pork Board, Dr. Becton worked fifteen years for two different large integrated swine operations as staff veterinarian.
