This presentation will provide an introduction to and description of Charreada Rodeo events. Videos and photos of horse tripping, a Charreada event, will be shown along with an explanation of the lack of associated injury data. An overview of Charreada rules, will be given along with discussion of contestant practice for the events. Equine anatomy and fatigue issues associated with Charreada rodeo events will be covered. The presentation will also cover state and local regulations with regard to Charreada Rodeo and events.
