Ann Rashmir DVM, MS

Ann Rashmir is an equine surgeon who graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1986. She interned at Virginia Tech, was a resident at Kansas State University and an orthopedic fellow at North Carolina State University. She recently received a Certificate in veterinary medical education from the Royal Veterinary College. Ann has had a long standing clinical interests in equine dermatology, equine surgery and equine lameness. For the past 20 years her research focus has been split between diseases of the equine skin and osteoarthritis in the equine athlete. She has authored over 150 manuscripts, book chapters and conference proceedings, one United States Patent, one App and has received over 1.7 million dollars in grants. She enjoys doing anything with her daughter and riding forgiving horses.
